Andrea is the Business Improvement Advisor for the CHIIS. She serves as a Project Manager for various federally- and commercially-funded grants awarded to CHIIS investigators and is helping to build the network of Agile Change Conductors to bring about large-scale quality improvement in our current healthcare system. After specializing in International Business at IUPUI as a Division I tennis player, she earned her MBA from Anderson University where she developed her interest in healthcare as an office management intern for IU Health Physicians Family Medicine. She served as a business analyst for the Hoosier Cancer Research Network and then worked as a Managed Care Revenue Analyst for IU Health for over three and half years. Andrea brings her entrepreneurial zeal and passion for improvement to further the mission of CHIIS to transform our healthcare system into one that delivers better care, better outcomes, lower costs, and a person-centered experience. As a graduate of the IUSM Graduate Certification program in Health Innovation & Implementation Science, she is a certified Agile Change Conductor and seeks to localize Agile methodology in healthcare to build evidence-based, learning systems.
