Join us in welcoming Jenna Wozniak and Grace Garcia during the virtual weekend residency of our Innovation and Implementation Science graduate program.
Jenna M. Wozniak, MS is a Program Manager within the Pulte Institute for Global Development’s Innovation and Practice Division. Her work provides proposal development and project management for global development programs, with a particular interest in translating scientific innovation to on the ground practice for communities globally.
Prior to joining the Pulte Institute, Wozniak lead the Cardiovascular & Diabetes Coalition of Indiana (CADI), a statewide health coalition tasked with reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and stroke through stakeholder engagement. During her graduate studies, Wozniak conducted research in northern Uganda to study the potential linkage between onchocerciasis, also known as river blindness, and nodding syndrome. She seeks to apply her broad-spectrum knowledge of global health topics to her work at Pulte.
Wozniak holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN as well as a master’s degree in global health from the University of Notre Dame.
Grace Garcia is a creative agile change agent and healthcare optimist. She received her Masters in Health Administration with focus on Informatics, Innovation and Implementation Science. Grace is an active Registered Nurse.
She has 10+ years leading and supporting healthcare transformation with expertise in performance improvement, developing clinical decision support, quality & patient safety, project management. Healthcare consultant for quality-related research studies. EHR implementation and informatics: credentialed in Epic CPOE, ClinDoc, ASAP, and OpTime; trained physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff. She has Facilitated Epic Go-Lives in various hospitals, provided site-support for community and large academic health organizations. She also led system initiatives mandated by CMS, JCAHO, HFS, NCQA, ADA, and IL state to improve quality, reduce risk, and maximize opportunities to make the right thing the easy thing to do.
Grace is passionate about innovation, developing people places and things, and exploration.
